Short answer: Comparing Canadian peptide vendors comes down to three things you can actually verify — independent testing, domestic shipping, and a track record — not the marketing on the homepage.

Testing is the only one that matters

Everything else is convenience. A vendor that shows independent, third-party results that verify on the lab's own portal, with the vendor named as the client, has cleared the bar most never reach.

Shipping and recourse

Domestic shipping means no border uncertainty and a clearer path if an order goes wrong. It's a convenience difference, not a quality one.

Track record and transparency

How long they've operated, whether they answer a direct testing question plainly, and whether their COAs match the batch you receive. Evasiveness is its own answer.

A scoring sheet that survives contact with marketing

Put the vendors you are considering in rows and these six questions in columns, and answer each with evidence rather than impression. Which laboratory tests the product, by name? Does a report resolve on that laboratory's own site when you enter its number? Does the report name the vendor as the client? Does the batch on the report match a batch you can buy? Where does the parcel physically ship from? What is the lowest published result, and is it still published? A vendor with six verifiable answers is comparable to another vendor with six; a vendor with two is not in the same comparison, whatever its prices or its reviews.

Why the lowest result is the most useful column

Every vendor's best result looks the same: a number in the high nineties. Their worst results differ, and whether the worst result is still visible differs more. A vendor that has published a result in the low nineties and left it up is showing you the whole distribution; a vendor whose archive contains nothing below 99 has either an implausibly perfect supplier or a curated archive. The floor tells you more about a testing programme than the average does, because the average is what everyone advertises and the floor is what nobody would choose to.

What reviews can and cannot settle

Forum and Reddit threads are good at two things: reporting that parcels arrive, and reporting that something went badly wrong. They are poor at the question in the middle — whether the material is what it says it is — because a reviewer cannot tell by looking. Weight reviews for logistics, service and recourse; weight the published testing for composition; and be suspicious of a thread that claims to settle composition by enthusiasm.

Shipping origin is a Canada-specific column

For a buyer anywhere else, shipping origin is a delivery-time question. For a Canadian buyer it is the border question: a parcel from outside the country can be opened, held or returned at the discretion of a customs officer, and a vendor's refund policy for that case is the thing to read before ordering. A vendor shipping from inside Canada removes the question rather than answering it, which is why the column belongs on the sheet even though it says nothing about quality.

How to use the sheet on a second vendor

The sheet is most useful when a vendor is new to you, because the answers are quick to get and hard to fake. Ask the six questions by email before ordering. A vendor that answers with names, numbers and links has done in one reply what a month of reading reviews cannot. A vendor that answers with reassurance has also told you something, and it cost you nothing to learn it.

Testing, shipping, and time on the record

Testing: 244 Janoshik reports across 133 products, 99.03% mean purity over the 181 that state a figure, 93.844% to 99.99%, each hosted on the testing lab's domain. Shipping: from inside Canada, in Canadian dollars, with no customs step for a Canadian buyer. Time: the vendor has been answering publicly in its own forum threads since November 2021. All of it, itemised.
